This was originally based on a compilation of the LB, DB, and Yards lists from the Stats Supplements and other game notes. There could be some defensive backs with two interceptions that are not accounted for yet (prior to 2008).
Dale Arbuckle (1925 vs SMU) and Bill Pansze (1931 vs Tulsa) are each credited with five interceptions in the media guides from 1955 to 1992, but none after that. According to Daily Oklahoman game summaries, Arbuckle is credited with eight of the 10 total interceptions in that game, and Pansze had five in his game. The NCAA officially began tracking stats in 1937, so at some point after 1992 OU may have decided to take the stance that anything before that is no longer official, or at least not in the 'modern' era.
