(Legacy.com/NewsOK.com) April 27, 1923 - April 9, 2013 CHICKASHA Funeral service for Harly Murl Day, 89, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at the First Baptist Church. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, at the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. He died on April 9, 2013. He was born April 27, 1923, in Ada, Oklahoma, born one of twin sons to Jessie L. Day and Lillian Anna (Long) Day. Mr. Day was a retired educator, serving over 50 years in School Administration and the Oklahoma Department of Education. Survivors include his wife, Janice Day, of the home; two sons, Brian M. Day, and Lance C. Day; three grandchildren, Lori Owens, Erik Day and wife Sabrina, and Zach Day; 12 great-grandchildren; and twin brother, Hardy Day. Interment will be in the Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, 3800 N May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73112-6506; the First Baptist Church of Chickasha; or to your favorite charity.
